Executive coaching for organisations

The people carrying the most in your business have the fewest people they can be honest with.

I work with senior commercial leaders and with the CEOs, MDs and people leaders investing in them. Before I coached, I ran a $450 million business with 850 people. So your leader spends less time explaining the context, and more time on what actually matters.

Executive coaching for organisations

The people carrying the most in your business have the fewest people they can be honest with.

I partner with CEOs, MDs and people leaders to provide confidential executive coaching for senior commercial leaders. Before I coached, I ran a $450 million business with 850 people, so I understand the commercial environment your leaders are operating in and the pressures that come with it. That means less time explaining the context and more time working through what actually matters.

What you can see, and what sits underneath it

Senior leaders don't always look like they're struggling. They're still delivering, making decisions and carrying the expectations of the role. But sometimes, what's happening underneath starts to show up in ways that affect the wider business.

What you may be seeing

What may be sitting underneath

What you may be seeing

  • A capable leader who has plateaued since stepping up
  • Decisions escalating that should be settled a level below
  • Nobody obvious to promote when a senior role opens up
  • Underperformance in one team that everyone can see, but nobody has dealt with
  • Someone you would struggle to replace who has quietly gone flat

What may be sitting underneath

  • The role has grown faster than their way of working, and they don't have anyone inside the business to properly think it through with.
  • They haven't yet built the confidence or judgement to let go when the stakes are high.
  • Under pressure, getting the work done wins over developing the person who could eventually take it on
  • The difficult conversation keeps getting pushed down the list.
  • They're still performing, but they're carrying something they don't have a space to properly work through.

A capable leader who has plateaued since stepping up

The role has grown faster than their way of working, and they don't have anyone inside the business to properly think it through with.

They haven't yet built the confidence or judgement to let go when the stakes are high.

Why organisations fund coaching

There are a few moments when investing in coaching makes particular sense. Usually, it's because there's something important at stake.

01

A leader you want to keep

When a senior leader is valuable to the business, losing them can have a significant impact on performance, relationships and the people around them. Coaching gives them a confidential space to work through the pressures they're carrying and stay effective as the demands of the role change.

02

A step up that holds

Taking on a bigger role changes what is expected of a leader, often faster than they have time to adjust. Coaching provides space to think through the new expectations, relationships and decisions before old ways of working become limiting

03

A bench you can promote from

When senior leaders create the space to step out of the detail, they can start developing the people around them. Coaching can help them delegate more effectively, build confidence in their team and create the capacity for the next generation of leaders to step up.

Gallup's research across 2.7 million employees found that the manager alone accounts for around 70% of the variance in their team's engagement. You are never investing in one person.

A confidential thinking partnership

Every conversation starts with what matters most to your leader at that point in time: a decision they're weighing, a conversation they're postponing, a relationship they're finding difficult, or an aspect of the role that isn't working as well as they'd like.

Together, we challenge assumptions, sharpen thinking and create clarity around the moments that matter. Sometimes that means asking difficult questions. Sometimes it means having the space to work through something properly before deciding what to do next.

The aim is simple: to help your leader navigate complexity, gain clarity and make better decisions, with an experienced commercial leader in their corner.

Six private sessions

One hour each, across six months, usually monthly. Sessions are held by video, unrecorded and entirely confidential

Coaching and mentoring

Space and questioning to help your leader work through their own challenges, alongside the perspective of someone who has spent decades navigating commercial leadership.

Access between sessions

WhatsApp or email between sessions, with a 48-hour reply window. For something they want to talk through before the next session, or a decision that can't wait.

Three-way check-ins, if useful

You, your leader and me, together. Typically at the beginning, midpoint and close of the engagement. Optional and agreed case by case.

What should change

A leader you keep

A high-performing leader who feels supported through the demands of the role and has somewhere to work through the challenges that come with it.

The pressure stops travelling down

Clearer decisions, better conversations and a leader who creates more capacity around them rather than carrying everything themselves

Ready for what's next

Greater confidence, influence and self-awareness, so they're better equipped for the next level of responsibility when it comes.
